Hon. Felkin K. Dena CECM Education & Ict, spearheaded a delegation’s visit to Sabaki Ward to evaluate education initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
Accompanied by Assistant Director for ECD, Madam Mary Nyale, Project Officer Mr. Jamal Bugo, and Area MCA Hon. Rose Baraka, along with staff from the MCA office, the delegation inspected Vetinery Pre-school. Discussions ensued regarding the construction of 2 ECD classrooms, with consensus reached.
The delegation then proceeded to Mguruleni Pre-school, where the department is underway with the construction of a second-generation ECD facility. CECM Ndena pledged swift completion of the project.
Addressing the need for ECD classrooms in Shella Village, the CECM assured prompt action upon land availability, promising the construction of 2 classrooms and toilets.
The visit concluded with an assessment of Milalani Vocational Training facility, where renovation requirements were noted. The CECM affirmed that necessary renovations would be prioritized upon budget allocation
