Earlier today, a delegation of board members from Kakuyuni vocational training centre (VTC) led by their Manager Mr. Mlewa Sifa Robert paid me a courtesy visit at my office.
The purpose of today’s visit was to extend their appreciation to my office towards supporting the successful launch of their strategic plan held last year.
Additionally, we discussed about the need to strengthen our partnership to ensure our vocational training institutions are well-equipped through construction of additional workshops and classes and enhance skills required to attain our development agenda for the people of Kilifi.
As a County government, we are committed to make our VTCs more sustainable and avenues for generation of income especially among our youth which will ultimately contribute to the growth of our economy.
The meeting was attended by Hon. Felkin Kaingu, CECM, Department of Early Childhood Education, Vocational Training, and ICT and director of VTC EddyStella Wanja.
