In a proactive move to ensure smooth disbursement of funds for students on the Governor’s full scholarship, the Department of Education and ICT recently completed a thorough five-day verification and monitoring exercise. Led by Hon. Felkin K. Dena, CECM for Education and ICT, the process involved all students from national schools who received the prestigious scholarship.

Students were required to submit essential documents, including their term one report forms, upcoming term fee structures, admission letters, and previous term fee payment receipts. This meticulous exercise aimed to prepare for the timely issuance of cheques before the new term begins, ensuring continued financial support.

This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to enhancing education accessibility and supporting students in achieving academic excellence. With the verification process now complete, students can anticipate uninterrupted support for their educational journey.
