Felkin K. Dena, CECM for Education & ICT, spearheaded the second phase of the County Mashinani initiative with a visit to Jilore Ward. Accompanied by Mr. Philip Wario (Chief Officer for Livestock Development), Mr. Hezekiah Mwarua (Chief Officer for Water Services and Natural Resource Management), and Mr. Dadu Chome (Acting Malindi Subcounty Administrator), the team toured key community facilities.

Their stops included Jilore Dispensary, Jilore Vocational Training Center, and Kakoneni Dispensary. During the visit, CECM Dena engaged with staff and residents to gather feedback on service delivery and infrastructure needs. Discussions centered on improving healthcare, vocational training, and other local services.

The initiative reflects a commitment to enhancing community services in line with Governor Gideon Maitha Mung’aro’s vision for better service delivery across Kilifi County. The insights gained will help shape strategies for improving local infrastructure and services.
