Kilifi County, under the leadership of Governor Gideon Maitha Mung’aro, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jiangxi Province and Jiujang City. This agreement focuses on enhancing collaboration in culture, education, trade, tourism, and agriculture, and marks the beginning of new exchange programs and partnerships between our regions.

The MOU aims to leverage resources and build lasting connections, with the potential to improve educational standards and foster mutual growth. Hon. Felkin K. Dena, CECM for Education & ICT, expressed appreciation to the Chinese delegation and highlighted the benefits of learning from China’s experience in competency-based education.

The event, attended by key officials including the County Attorney, Mr. Henry Luganje, County Secretary Mr. Martin Mwaro, and Deputy Governor Hon. Flora Mbetsa Chibule, also featured a visit to Ngoloko Primary School by the Chinese delegation, who donated stationery and food items to the school.
