The Department of Education and ICT celebrated nationwide tree-planting day by greening all Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers across the county, as part of their efforts to promote environmental sustainability. Leading the initiative was Felkin K. Dena, CECM Education & ICT, who was present in Ganze subcounty while the Chief Officer for Education, Mr. Fredrick Nguma, was present at Bomani Stadium in Magarini subcounty.

The event extended beyond schools, with Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) actively participating in the commendable endeavor. At Jilore VTC, staff and students came together to plant trees, contributing to the larger mission of fostering a greener and more sustainable future.
