Performance contracting is vital for governance in the public sector, ensuring accountability, transparency, and efficiency among civil servants. By establishing performance contracts, government officials commit to achieving specific goals, fostering a results-oriented culture, and enhancing public service quality.
Today, at the CECMS office, Mr. Fredrick Nguma, Chief Officer for Education, oversaw the signing of performance contracts by key department directors, including Mr. Moses Karema (Director of ICT), Madam Rose Erulu (Director of Early Childhood Development), and Madam Eddystella Wanja (Director of Vocational Training). This initiative underscores the department’s dedication to effective and accountable service delivery.
