The Department of Education and ICT received a petition from concerned residents of Malindi Town Ward regarding the Ward Scholarship Committee. Today, Hon. Felkin K. Dena, CECM for Education & ICT, led an investigative visit with Mr. Fredrick Nguma, Chief Officer for Education, and representatives from the County Attorney’s Office.
During the visit, both parties presented their viewpoints. A thorough investigation will be conducted to determine the validity of the claims, and appropriate actions will be taken based on the findings. This initiative underscores Kilifi County’s commitment to transparency and accountability in its scholarship programs, ensuring equal and fair educational opportunities for all residents.
