Felkin K. Dena, CECM Education & ICT, alongside the Department of Education and ICT, is spearheading an environmental awareness campaign by distributing seedlings to all pre-primary schools in the county. These seedlings, generously donated by Hitan Majevdia Ebs Ogw, will contribute to creating a greener and more eco-friendly learning environment for the schools.

The planting of these seedlings will take place on Monday, in alignment with the national government’s declaration of a countrywide tree-planting day as a public holiday.

The flagging-off ceremony was attended by Mr. Fredrick Nguma, Chief Officer for Education, Madam Rose Erulu, Director of Early Childhood Development (ECD), Mr. Andrew Furaha, Malindi Subcounty ECD Supervisor, and Mr. Jamal Bugo, Project Officer. This initiative emphasizes the collective effort to promote environmental sustainability in education.
