In a significant stride towards educational and technological advancement, the Department of Education and ICT, led by Hon. Felkin K. Dena, CECM for Education and ICT, orchestrated a pivotal site handover ceremony at Bamba Vocational Training Centre in Bamba ward, Ganze Subcounty. Addressing the gathering, Hon. Felkin Kaingu Ndena emphasized the department’s commitment to rejuvenating stalled projects, marking a new chapter of progress and development for the institution.

A highlight of the event was the inauguration of electrification efforts, made possible through generous contributions from donors Givepower and Boundless, who installed solar power infrastructure and generously supplied the institution with 20 laptops, ushering in a wave of technological empowerment. Further fortifying the institution’s infrastructure, Mombasa Cement is constructing four additional classrooms, bolstering the capacity of the Vocational Training Centre to accommodate more students and enhance learning experiences.

The event garnered participation from key stakeholders, including Bamba ward MCA, Hon. Mwambire Mohamed, and the Director for Vocational Training, Madam Eddystella Wanja, underscoring the collective commitment towards fostering a conducive learning environment and empowering the youth with invaluable skills for the future.
