Felkin K. Dena, CECM for Education and ICT, recently visited Jaribuni Vocational Training Centre (VTC) to assess its infrastructure and educational needs. Accompanied by the VTC’s Board of Governors (BOG), the CECM conducted a detailed inspection of the facility.
During the visit, the VTC manager highlighted critical issues, including a shortage of instructors, inadequate furniture, and insufficient classrooms. The manager stressed the urgent need for improvements to address these challenges.
In response, Felkin K. Dena pledged immediate support, including providing 25 additional chairs to alleviate the furniture shortage and committing to recruit three new instructors once the process is completed. This initiative aims to enhance the learning environment and address the VTC’s challenges.
